It was the vision of Michael J. Robins, the youngest Certified Master Chef in the U.S., who has spent his distinguished career working with many of our nations' largest food and hospitality companies including fortune 100 food manufacturers, national restaurant chains, airlines, and the U.S. military just to name a few. He recognized that companies need professional culinary and R&D services for various projects and realized that not all companies have these resources available ​or might need a little reinforcement with innovation or development work. It was this need that led him to organize a network of industry experts and develop Integrated Culinary Systems with a mission to "streamline the Culinary Innovation Process". By working hand in hand cross functionally with their clients' existing teams, common barriers in the innovation and commercialization process are eliminated. The various obstacles that many companies struggle with today are overcome, resulting in lower go to market cost and higher innovation rates.
